CREATIVE MIND, CREATIVE WORKS.

Technology is the future!

Future Concept.

In my immediate future my goal is to get my CCNA.

My end goal is to become a Network Engineer.

The Big Ideas.

I would like to gain as much experience as possible in the IT field. I am particularly interested in cyber security, network infrastructure, and keeping up on current events in the tech industry.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Creative Solutions.

I like challenges, whether it be troubleshooting hardware and software issues or the firmware in between. I do this through identifying the underlying causes and finding creative solutions.

IT and Me

TECHNOLOGY IS NOT A DESTINATION. IT IS A JOURNEY.

Ticketing System and more

Linode is my go-to IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service). Linode enables me to host Peppermint. Peppermint is a ticket management system. I’ve recently begun utilizing Microsoft Azure for my Active Directory lab.

Research Strategies

I am always looking for ways to increase my understanding of the ever-evolving IT field. I believe in the value of research. Fortunately, the knowledge is out there. You just have to look. My go-to platforms are Microsoft Learn, Coursera, CBT Nuggets, KodeKloud, GitHub, and of course Youtube.

Content Reading

My favorite authors are William Shotts, Mike Meyers, Jon Erickson, and OTW (OccupyTheWeb).

Educational Channels

I subscribe to multiple educational IT creators on Youtube. I find the Creator NetworkChuck to be engaging and informative. He actually inspired me to create this website for my resume.

Web Development

While I haven’t fully mastered them, I possess a foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, Python, and Java. As I embarked on creating this website, I ventured into the realm of Wordpress. The process of acquiring new techniques and skills to craft my own website has been an enjoyable journey.

What sparked my interest

As a child, I was always interested in figuring out how things worked. At the age of six, my grandmother’s 3 Disc Cd Stereo System stopped working. I told her I was going to fix it for her. She laughed but let me have it. Not an hour later I was swimming in a void of screws and wires. I had no idea what I was doing, but I managed to put it back together and to my grandmother’s surprise it worked. When I heard the music playing, I wondered what else I could fix.
